Titans of the Arts visit Thescon

Monday, February 10, 2020

Under the supervision of BT Drama director, Jillian Bauersfeld, Blessed Trinity sent 22 students on February 6-8th for a three day intensive high school theatre experience. The Georgia Thespian Conference (Thescon) held in Columbus, GA featured dozens of productions presented by high schools from throughout the state. They were able to participate in a variety of workshops led by theater professionals from around the country. Additionally they could perform or view individual performance and tech events, audition for scholarships, talk to college representatives from around the country, shop with commercial vendors selling theater merchandise, and hang out with 5,000 other Georgia Thespians. This educational event celebrates Georgian artists and thespians who excel at their craft and share a passion for theatre.

BT is excited to share Lily Mays ‘20, Hope Wellington ‘20, Ernesto Hernandez ‘20, Sophie Ragan ‘20 and Sarah Shely ‘20 all participated in an Individual Entry in Acting, Musical Solo and Musical Duet. Lily Mays ‘20 and Nick Gomez ‘23 also placed third in the “Improv! Competition”. Congratulations to our Titans of the ARTS!
