Senior Service Day 2024

Blessed Trinity Catholic High School Service Hour Requirements:

  • Students are required to complete a minimum of 15 hours during each academic school year.

  • Campus Ministry will sponsor monthly service projects.

Approved Service Projects - provided for those most vulnerable and in great need, both in and out of our community.

Non-approved Service Projects - activities that are expected of an individual or seen as a responsibility such as babysitting, cutting the grass, washing a car, household chores.

Please direct any questions or comments to Anne Birth, Director of Campus Ministry abirth@btcatholic.org.

By engaging in acts of service based on the Corporal Works of Mercy, you not only make a positive impact on the lives of others but also deepen your own understanding of empathy, compassion, and the teachings of Jesus.

Feed the Hungry

Volunteer at a local soup kitchen or food pantry to help those who are hungry in our community. You could also organize a food drive to collect donations for those in need.

Give Drink to the Thirsty

Consider participating in a project that provides clean water to communities in need, both locally and globally. You could also volunteer at a homeless shelter to distribute water bottles during hot summer days.

Shelter the Homeless

Get involved with organizations that support homeless individuals and families by volunteering at shelters or helping with housing assistance programs.

Clothe the Naked

Organize a clothing drive to collect gently used clothes for those who cannot afford them. You could also volunteer at a thrift store or homeless shelter to sort and distribute clothing donations.

Visit the Sick

Spend time visiting residents at nursing homes or hospitals who may be lonely or in need of companionship. Simply offering your presence and a listening ear can make a world of difference to someone in need.

Visit the Imprisoned

Reach out to local prison ministries or organizations that support incarcerated individuals and their families. Consider writing letters to inmates or volunteering with programs that offer support and rehabilitation services.

Bury the Dead

Offer your assistance to families who may be grieving the loss of a loved one by volunteering to help with funeral arrangements or providing emotional support during their time of need.

Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine,
you did for me."  - Matthew 25:40
