Spanish National Honor Society (Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica) is an honor society for Blessed Trinity students who are enrolled in upper level Spanish Honors courses (4H or AP), and is sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese. The mission of the Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica is to recognize high school achievement in Spanish and to promote interest in Hispanic studies. Any Blessed Trinity junior or senior of good moral fiber who has maintained an A average in his/her Honors and/or AP Spanish courses for at least 4 straight semesters, with a 3.5 GPA is eligible to apply. Our Induction Ceremony for the SHH is held early during the spring semester, typically in February. SHH officers are elected by their peers in the fall and help plan service projects. Our chapter is Miguel de Unamuno, a Spanish essayist, novelist, poet, playwright and philosopher. The motto of the Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica is "Todos a una."
