Mark your calendars now for the Fall Arts Festival to be held on Saturday, November 9th as the Blessed Trinity Fine Arts Department will showcase performances from all Fine Arts students in Band, Chorus, Dance, Drama, and Visual Arts. Today officials of National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) announced the names of approximately 16,000 Semifinalists in the 65th annual National Merit Scholarship Program. Jamie DeWalt and Matthew Thompson were chosen from Blessed Trinity.     Blessed Trinity believes in creating a culture of philanthropy among its student body. In past years, students have been asked to sell cases of Coca-Cola products to help raise money for the school. This year students have been asked to sell coupon cards. Coupon cards cost $30 and will get you discounts at local restaurants and other retail stores.   In June, Mr. Morzen, Mrs. Birth, Fr. Bob Frederick and 14 students from the BT Habitat for Humanity Club traveled to Spruce Pinces, NC for our summer Collegiate Challenge trip. Spruce Pines is in a beautiful mountain area outside of Asheville and part of the Mitchell Yancey Habitat affiliate.
