National Honor Society is the nation's premier organization to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to honor those junior and senior students who have demonstrated excellence at Blessed Trinity throughout the year in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, and character. These characteristics have been associated with membership in the organization since its beginning. Transfer Junior students must complete a full year at Blessed Trinity before eligibility, unless they have already been inaugurated into NHS at their previous school. Candidates become members at the required annual induction ceremony that is held each December. The members provide a valuable tutoring service for the school and do other service projects beyond the school requirements.
Selection criteria includes:
- Scholarship Rising junior/senior students who have a 93 GPA with all grades being 80 or above and who have had no major discipline issues will receive an invitation/application for membership.
