Girls Soccer Coaching Staff

After nine years as both an assistant and head coach in the Blessed Trinity boys soccer program, Coach Jackson took on a new role as the head girls varsity soccer coach in 2020.  Coach Jackson's first year with the girls looked to be a promising one.  The Titans climbed to #2 in the state 4A in early March, were in first place in the region, and were just starting to hit stride; however, the season was abruptly cut short by the pandemic.  Coach Jackson is looking forward to his first full season with the girls program in 2021.  

During his tenure on the staff at Blessed Trinity, Coach Jackson has helped lead the boys varsity team to three region championships, including back to back region championships in 2016 and 2017, nine straight state playoff appearances, and the boys varsity team’s first ever appearance in the state championship game in 2012.  He was also selected as the GHSA AA Region 5 Assistant Coach of the Year in 2012, GHSA AAA Region 3 Coach of the Year in 2016, and GHSA Region 4 AAAA Coach of the Year in 2017.  

Prior to coming to Blessed Trinity, Coach Jackson coached soccer at Harrison High School and North Cobb Christian High School and has coached club soccer for Roswell Soccer Club for nineteen years.  While at North Cobb Christian he led the boys varsity team to the GISA state championship. He was selected as the GISA coach of the year in 2008. Coach Jackson currently holds a USSF D level coaching license and is certified as a Coerver coaching instructor through their youth diploma course.    

Aside from coaching high school and club soccer, Coach Jackson is also a Grade 7 USSF Referee and a certified referee assignor.  He currently runs the soccer referee programs for Roswell Soccer Club, Alpharetta Soccer Club, Georgia Express Soccer Club, Peachtree Ridge Athletic Association, Peachtree Corners Futbol Club, and Atlanta Club Sports adult leagues.  Coach Jackson is a graduate of Kennesaw State University where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Master of Arts in Teaching English. In addition to his role as head girls soccer coach at Blessed Trinity, he also teaches English and sponsors Panorama, the school's literary and art magazine.

Coach Goddard is a 1984 graduate of Calhoun High School.  Coach Goddard attended and played football at the University of Georgia from 1984 until 1987, lettering in 1987.  Over Coach Goddard’s 30 year career, he has coached at Port Charlotte High School, Cedar Shoals High School, Wheeler High School, Cass High School, Walton High School, Lassiter High School, and Kell High School.  Coach Goddard was the Head Coach at East Paulding High School. After 30 years in public education, Coach Goddard retired and is very happy to be a part of the Blessed Trinity program. Coach Goddard is married to Kathy Davis of Greenville, SC and has two children, Caroline and Chad.  Caroline is a senior at the University of Georgia, and Chad is a freshman football player at Kennesaw State University. 

This will be Coach Behar-Powell first season with BT Soccer.  She helped start the girls' soccer program at La Lumiere School and was an assistant coach at the school for 4 years.  She most recently taught at Savannah Country Day School.  Coach Behar-Powell is originally from North Carolina.  She has an undergraduate degree from UNC-Chapel Hill and earned a M. Ed from Wake Forest University.  In addition to coaching soccer, Coach Behar-Powell teaches Social Studies and is a member of the Blessed Trinity technology team.
