The Blessed Trinity Theatre Arts Program is dedicated to bringing quality performances to the BT stage in an atmosphere of fun and fellowship.

The theatre program emphasizes helping each student enrich their emotional, social and educational growth through a variety activities both in production and in the classroom.  Our students are provided opportunities to learn new theater skills from professional educators and industry recognized special guests in performing, technical theater and design.

Students are also encouraged to develop their own creative and leadership skills by writing, directing and designing for theater experiences with our Chapter of the International Thespian Society-Troupe 7498, in productions and classes.

All areas of Theater Production (performance and technical) are fostered and encouraged through our established and well recognized program.

Spring Musical

High School Musical on Stage!
May 1-3, 2026
Friday & Saturday 7:00 p.m., Sunday Matinee 2:00 p.m.

It's the first day after winter break at East High. The Jocks, Brainiacs, Thespians and Skater Dudes find their cliques, recount their vacations and look forward to the new year. Basketball team captain and resident jock, Troy, discovers that the brainy Gabriella, a girl he met singing karaoke on his ski trip, has just enrolled at East High. They cause an upheaval when they decide to audition for the high school musical that is being led by Ms. Darbus. Although many students resent the threat posed to the "status quo," Troy and Gabriella's alliance might just open the door for others to shine as well.

This is a performance from our Advanced Musical Theater class, showcasing powerful acting, singing and dancing. Don’t miss this chance to see rising stars shine on stage.

Theatre Performance
Acting

Theatre courses at Blessed Trinity offer students the opportunity to perform and develop their theatrical skills—without the commitment of an after-school rehearsal schedule. Through a workshop-style approach, students explore their natural strengths and enhance their abilities in acting, musical theater and performance.

Students build confidence, develop artistic insight, and apply their skills in class performances.

advanced musical theater performance

Students are given the opportunity for focused study of vocal production, musicianship and dance techniques for the musical theater performer. Student roles may vary from production to production to develop their skills and experience in all areas of musical theater. This class is designed to produce an ensemble musical production incorporating acting, singing and dancing. This course has required performances.

Stagecraft
Technical Theater

These hands-on courses offer students the opportunity to explore the artistry behind theatrical productions through costume design, makeup and stagecraft. Students will develop essential skills in designing and creating costumes, hairstyles, and makeup—both traditional and special effects—while collaborating on creative projects with peers.

The stagecraft component introduces students to the technical aspects of theater production, including set construction, lighting and sound design. Students learn to work with tools, lumber and machinery while actively contributing to the design and construction of the theater productions each semester.
