*** Note...we have reached the maximum number of participants for our program, so registration has been shut down. We are searching for a parent volunteer to help. Please contact Coach O’Sullivan if you are interested. We would love to open the program up to more runners if we have another coach!

Welcome to the Junior Titan Cross Country Program!

The Junior Titan Cross Country program is open to all 6th, 7th and 8th grade girls and boys that are interested in running. There are no tryouts and no cuts. Everyone is welcome, as long as they bring a positive attitude and strong work ethic. The fee is $100. Our Junior Titan programs are for athletes who intend to come to Blessed Trinity High School. Therefore, all 8th graders must pay an additional $100 application fee which covers their fee when they apply to Blessed Trinity.

You will need to use the "Register now" link to submit all their information and pay through the ACTIVE network. You will get a confirmation email and it will ask you to submit your supplemental forms (physical, concussion, emergency permission forms and medical history forms). Runners cannot be on the team until all paperwork is submitted. I cannot accept any money for registration or any paperwork. It should all be done through ACTIVE.

Program Goals:

1. Develop runners aerobically, establishing a strong base from which they can make a smooth and successful transition to high school running.

2. Allow runners the opportunity to cultivate values inherent in cross country: mental toughness, perseverance, self-discipline, humility and good sportsmanship.

3. Develop a passion for running, learning how to set a goal and working to accomplish it.

Practice Schedule:

The practice schedule for the 2019 cross country season will be 4 days a week (Mon-Thurs) from 4:00-4:45. Our first practice will be Monday, July 29th at 4:00 p.m. Runners will meet down by the concession stand by the football field/track.


In preparation for the cross country season it is recommended that runners run 2-4 times per week throughout the summer.
