BT Sophomore named a finalist in Dean's List Award at Robotics Competition
Blessed Trinity sophomore, Sophia Caiello, was named a finalist for the FIRST FRC Robotics Competition's Dean's List Award. She will represent Blessed Trinity and our robotics program at the state level competition in April at the Peachtree District State Championship.
The Dean's List Award recognizes the leadership and dedication of FIRST's most outstanding secondary school students. According to FIRST, students who earn this award as semi-finalists, finalists or winners are "great examples of student leaders who have led their Teams and communities to increased awareness for FIRST and its mission. These students have also achieved personal technical expertise and accomplishment."
Blessed Trinity's Robotics Lead Mentor, Banesa Guaderrama, has been working with the robotics team for the past year. She adds, "this is the first time a Blessed Trinity student has achieved this level, and for those in the robotics community, it is a tremendous opportunity to be recognized when applying to colleges for STEM related programs."
