Blessed Trinity French and Spanish Students Score Well

Monday, September 28, 2020

Congratulations to our Spanish and French students who attained national recognition for excellent performance on the 2020 National Spanish and French Examinations!

Students from BT earned a total of three gold, 10 silver and eight bronze medals along with 47 honorable mentions. Attaining a medal or honorable mention for any student on the National Spanish or French Examinations is very prestigious, because the exams are the largest of their kind in the United States with over 140,000 students registered in 2020 for Spanish, and over 68,000 students for French.

Students from Blessed Trinity have a long history of high achievement on these exams, and were taught by Spanish teachers Martin Reynoso, Holly Goolsby, and Cathy Coleman, and French teacher Susan Womick.

The National Spanish and French Examinations are administered each year and are sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese, and the American Association of Teachers of French. We are very proud of all our students!
