VIRTUE=STRENGTH
SPORTS-CENTERED VIRTUE TRAINING PROGRAM

"A virtue is an habitual and firm disposition to do the good. It allows the person not only to perform good acts, but to give the best of himself. The virtuous person tends toward the good with all his sensory and spiritual powers; he pursues the good and chooses it in concrete actions. The goal of a virtuous life is to become like God.” (Catechism of the Catholic Church, #1803)

The Virtue=Strength program is Blessed Trinity’s leadership and virtue development program integrated into athletics. Teams participate in programming led by coaches and student leaders in an effort to build character, leadership, and the overall growth of our student athletes. In addition to weekly presentations by each team, the program includes family events and ceremonies within each athletic team.

The goal of the Virtue=Strength program is to integrate the Catholic faith into sports by helping parents and coaches build virtuous young men and women who help lead others. Blessed Trinity is a proud participant of the national Virtue=Strength program.
