Coach Boes is in her second year coaching and teaching math at Blessed Trinity. She is a graduate of Georgetown College and earned her Master’s degree from the University of Kansas in 2019. In 2020, Coach Boes led our varsity team to a Region 7 AAAAA Region Championship and State Runner-Up finish, as well as having 5 players selected to the All-State Team, 4 selected to the All-Region Team and the Region Player of the Year. In 2019, Coach Boes led our team to a AAAA State and Region Championship while having 4 players selected to the All-State Team and 3 chosen for the All-Region Team. She has been chosen as Region Coach of the Year twice, and was selected GVCA and GACA AAAA State Coach of the Year in 2019. Coach Boes lives in Lawrenceville with her husband, John Mark and their dog, Watson.
Coach Rick is in her fifth year coaching and her second year as Registrar at Blessed Trinity. She is a 2012 graduate of Blessed Trinity and member of the 2010 State Championship team. She served as co-captain in her senior year and was the recipient of the St. Sebastian Award. She attended Georgia Southern University where she received her BS in Sport Management, with minors in Business and Marketing, and Kansas State University where she received her MS in Academic Advising.
Coach Keel is entering his 14th year at BT serving as the Media Specialist. He is a graduate of Albany State University and earned his master's degree from Georgia State University. Previously, he served as an assistant volleyball coach at Eagle's Landing High School and the head coach at Luella High School. Coach Keel also serves as the director for Kolbe House. He is married to Nan, and they have three wonderful children, Fletcher, Mason, and Davis, BT Class of 2020.
Coach Whitworth is new to our Blessed Trinity Volleyball program and is a part of the Mathematics Department. Originally from Texas, she played club and high school volleyball in the Greater Houston area. Coach Whitworth graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and earned her Master’s degree from the Sam Houston State University in 2017. You’ll find Coach Whitworth and her husband, Stephen, living an active lifestyle, playing sports and enjoying the outdoors with their two rescue pups in the Roswell area.
Coach Doan is a Theology teacher at BT and is in her second year of coaching. She played volleyball at The Lovett School, where she graduated high school. She received her BS in Psychology at the Georgia Institute of Technology and her MA in Theology at Franciscan University of Steubenville. She lives with her husband, Le, and their dog, Carrot, in Duluth, GA.
