Girls Basketball Coaching Staff

 

Coach Rountree has been a member of the Blessed Trinity basketball staff since 2003 and began serving as Head Varsity Girls’ Coach in 2016.  As a member of the boys staff, he served as Assistant Varsity and Head JV Coach. During his time on the boys’ basketball staff, the Titans reached the sweet sixteen five times (2008, 2009, 2010, 2014, 2015) and were state runner-up in 2009. His Varsity Girls’ team reached the state playoffs in 2017. Before coming to BT, he was the Head Varsity Boys’ Basketball Coach at Oak Mountain Academy, and he has served as Head Boys' and Girls' Varsity Basketball Coach at David Emanuel Academy. He has also served as a member of the basketball staff at Savannah Christian Preparatory School. Coach Rountree is a graduate of Georgia Southern University where he earned his B.S. degree in Health and Physical Education.  

 

Coach Oshinski is entering into his first year with the Blessed Trinity basketball staff. Before coming to BT, he served as a member of the basketball staff at Pinecrest Academy from 2013-2015 as an assistant for the varsity and junior varsity boys teams. Coach Oshinski also served as a team manager for the University of Georgia Women’s Basketball team from 2015-2018, when the team made two NCAA tournament appearances and finished nationally ranked. Coach Oshinski is a graduate from the University of Georgia and teaches in the Social Studies Department.  

 

Coach Pearl begins her second year at Blessed Trinity assisting with the girls varsity program.  Her coaching career began over two decades ago after she completed her playing career in college.  She began coaching at Strath Haven High School in Pennsylvania as well as assisting for the Philadelphia Comets U14 AAU team, a nationally ranked top 25 team.  Coach Pearl moved up to collegiate level coaching and was an assistant at the University of Delaware from 1997-2000 before relocating with her husband to the Roswell area.  Coach Pearl turned down an opportunity to work at Georgia Tech and instead began teaching special education at Elkins Pointe Middle School. She was an assistant varsity girls coach at Centennial High School before being promoted to an administrator for special education in Fulton County. Since then, she has coached many levels from beginners to high school.

Coach Pearl graduated from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY with a dual teaching degree in elementary education and special education and was a Division 1 Academic All-American. She completed her masters at St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, Pa.

Coach Flood joined the Blessed Trinity girls’ basketball staff in 2018. He graduated from Virginia State University where he was a four year starter on the basketball team. Coach Flood has been coaching and training basketball players for over fifteen years.
