Wrestling - Jr Titans
We are excited that you are interested in becoming a member of our youth wrestling squad. On the "Coaches" page there are links to each of the coaches. Please feel free to get to know a little more about them and our program. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Danny Piper (Feeder Program Head Coach).
Wrestling is one of the fastest growing sports in the Southeast and in the United States.
Therefore, it has become increasingly important to compete at a younger age in order to become successful in high school and college. This is why we have developed a program that encompasses Kindergarten (nick-named Mat Rats) all the way through eighth grade. Throughout the season, your wrestler will not only learn the basic fundamentals of wrestling, but will also be able to compete in tournaments and dual meets with other children their age and weight. Thanks for your interest. You may check the news page for additional information about the first practice and other important information. We look forward to seeing you!
BT's Junior Titan program is designed for elementary age boys that wish to wrestle in novice or open tournaments and for middle school aged boys that wish to register in novice tournaments.
The cost for Junior Titan Wrestling is $155. This includes mat time (Monday and Thursday practices from 6:00-7:30 PM and an optional Tuesday practice for more experienced wrestlers) and BT apparel. This payment must be taken care of with the registration prior to the first practice.
Parent Meeting (Required for all parents):
The parent meeting will be on Tuesday October 29th at 6:01 PM in the Blessed Trinity Learning Commons.
Registration and Payment:
All 8th graders must pay the mandatory $100 BT application fee (unless already paid through another sport).

The Jr. Titan wrestling program is a member of USA Wrestling and competes in USA Wrestling sanctioned tournaments. If your child plans to compete in weekend tournaments, your wrestler will need a USA Wrestling membership card. Go to our USA Wrestling Information page (click here) to learn more about this process. Please note that we will also have matches during the week as well that are not USA wrestling, so membership is not required, but it is recommended if you want your wrestler to compete in all events.
