Baseball Coaching Staff

This is Coach Harlin’s 18th year as Head Baseball Coach at Blessed Trinity and his 31st year with the Archdiocese of Atlanta School System.  Coach Harlin has won 28 Coach of the Year honors during his career and was inducted into the Georgia Dugout Club Hall of Fame in 2019. He is a 5-time Georgia Dugout Club State Coach of the Year, and 3-time GACA State Coach of the Year.  Harlin was honored by the American Baseball Coaches Association being named 'Region Coach of the Year' for the southeast region in 2014 and 2015. Coach Harlin is the department chair for physical education. He is married to Jamie Radine from Lomita, California.

This is Coach Wagner’s 18th year at BT. He was named Georgia Dugout Club Assistant Coach of the Year in 2013 and 2019, and AAA State Assistant Coach of the Year in 2006, 2014 and 2015. Coach Wags took over the pitching coach duties in 2013 and immediately had a giant impact with DI signees Reed Scott and Brian Kehner. In 2016, Coach Wags led the Titan pitching staff to the lowest ERA in the state of Georgia, covering all classifications. The pitching staff had a record setting season in a number of statistics. The staff set records in strikeout to walk ratio and ERA. Wags also tutored MLB catcher and '04 graduate Tyler Flowers who came home to the Atlanta Braves for the 2016 season. Coach Wags also coached 2013 grad C.J. Brazil who was a catcher for DI Georgia Southern University. Coach Wagner is originally from Scotia (Schenectady County), New York. He came down on scholarship to play baseball for South Georgia College, and graduated from the State University of West Georgia. Coach Wagner has also been instrumental in the success of the Titan Summer Baseball Camps, and serves as the camp coordinator. Jamie and his wife Joanna and three children reside in Woodstock, Georgia.

This is Coach Harwell's 14th year at BT. In 2014 and 2015, Coach Harwell was named GACA State Assistant Coach of the Year. Prior to BT, Coach Harwell coached baseball at Salem High School.  BT athletic director, Ricky Turner, was Coach Harwell's high school baseball coach at Salem. Coach Harwell is the department chair of the guidance department at BT. He received his undergraduate degree from Berry College where he played baseball. Coach Harwell and his wife, Amber, are the proud parents of Audrey and Scarlett. Coach Harwell and his family reside in Canton.

Coach Contratto will be entering his 4th season coaching at BT. No stranger to BT Baseball, Coach Contratto was a catcher on the 2006 State Championship Team and graduated in 2007. In Coach Contratto's first season as the JV head coach, he won his first 16 games and finished leading the team to a 16-1 record. As a player, he was involved in one of the biggest plays in BT baseball history. In the 2006 state championship game, he caught Jonathan Kolowich's throw from right field to cut down the potential tying run as the runner attempted to knock the ball loose. He held onto the ball and preserved a 2-1 win and the Titans first state championship. Coach Contratto was a 3 sport athlete at BT, lettering in baseball, football, and wrestling. After graduating, Coach Contratto played football at Wittenberg University, then finished his schooling at Kennesaw State University. Coach Contratto teaches at Queen of Angels Catholic School and also coaches football and wrestling at BT.

Coach Gerard is entering his 6h season at Blessed Trinity. He is the head 9th grade baseball coach and assists with the varsity outfielders. In addition, Coach Gerard coaches basketball in the winter.  He played baseball at Chattahoochee High School in Johns Creek. Coach Gerard teaches social studies at Blessed Trinity.
