Ricky Turner has been the Athletic Director of Blessed Trinity Catholic High School since the school opened in 2000. During his eleven seasons as the Head Football Coach, Turner led the Titans to three state playoff appearances. In 2005, Coach Turner took his football team to its first ever region championship and was named Region 5-AAA Coach of the Year. In that same year, he was named the North Fulton Touchdown Club Coach of the Year. In 2008, the Roswell Beacon newspaper named Coach Turner Coach of the Year once again. He was then named the 2007-2008 Athletic Director of the Year for AAA classification.

Coach Turner came to Blessed Trinity from St. Pius X Catholic High School, his alma mater, where he was the offensive coordinator for the football team and the assistant baseball coach from 1997-2000. In 1999, he helped lead the Golden Lion football team to its first state playoff appearance in 20 years. Prior to that, he was the defensive coordinator on the varsity football team at Salem High School in Conyers and was the head baseball coach in 1997. During his college years at the University of Georgia, he was a walk-on to the football team where he earned a football scholarship. In addition, he was named to the All-SEC Academic Football Team and was the recipient of the Olin-Huff Award for the Most Outstanding Walk-On Athlete at the University of Georgia.

Ricky's wife, Lynn, is also a graduate of the University of Georgia and an alumna of the Marist School. Together, they have four sons, Ricky Jr., Justin, and twins Matthew and Christopher. Their precious daughter, Jessica, is watching over the Titans from Heaven.
