Jonathan Yu '13

Jonathan Yu is the owner and founder of Truth Be Told, Roswell’s newest restaurant and lounge, redefining the local dining scene with inventive cocktails and a refined yet relaxed atmosphere. Born in Atlanta and raised in Roswell, Jonathan always envisioned bringing something special to his hometown. A graduate of the University of Georgia, he discovered his love for wine while studying abroad in Verona, Italy – a passion that would shape his career in hospitality.

Before opening Truth Be Told, Jonathan worked in fine wine at Republic National Distributing Company, partnering with some of Atlanta’s top restaurants, including Bacchanalia, Atlas, and Marcel. His experiences there inspired his vision for creating a space where craft, creativity, and community come together.

At Truth Be Told, Jonathan’s passion for hosting shines through every detail – from the seven-course hybrid tasting menu curated by Chef Matt Marcus to the inventive cocktails crafted with house-made ingredients. Rooted in Roswell’s warm, welcoming spirit, Jonathan’s goal is simple: to offer guests an elevated dining experience that feels genuine, effortless, and unforgettable.
