Dear Blessed Trinity Catholic High School Parents and Students:
Welcome to our new and returning families! I hope this letter finds you rested, relaxed and enjoying your summer vacation. We, at Blessed Trinity, are looking forward to a successful and exciting school year that will begin in a few weeks. Your continued support of Blessed Trinity is always appreciated, and as we look forward to the 2022-2023 school year, we are challenging each and every one of our students, parents, faculty and staff to “Be the Difference.”
Please take some time to look over the following information which outlines dates and details that will help prepare you and your students for the upcoming school year.
The official school calendar has been updated on the website at www.btcatholic.org and can be printed at home.
Please review the following items that must be completed prior to the first day of school. If you have any questions, please email the Clinic at email@example.com.
All requirements/updates to your student(s) Magnus account must be completed and approved by the school nurses, no exceptions.
ALL students are required to maintain a current Immunization record; it MUST be on the Georgia Department of Public Health Certificate of Immunization Form 3231 (GA#3231) and be on file with the school by the first day of school or attendance may be suspended. (Handwritten 3231 forms will not be accepted).
Effective July 1, 2021, children 16 years of age and older, who are entering the 11th grade (including new entrants), must have received one booster dose of the meningococcal conjugate vaccine (MCV4), unless their initial dose was administered on or after their 16thbirthday. If the 16th birthday occurs during the 11th grade school year, a 30-day timeframe is enforced by state law to become updated with a booster.
If your student received the COVID-19 Vaccine, please upload a copy of the vaccine card under the immunization tab. This will not override any other immunizations that are recorded under that tab.
MBS Direct is our official vendor for textbooks including those required for summer reading assignments. For classes that require a novel/book for summer assignments, you can order those books now. All textbooks can be ordered beginning Tuesday, July 5. MBS will offer free shipping on all orders placed between July 11 to July 17. Do not attempt to order textbooks prior to July 5. The link to our MBS bookstore can be found on the Blessed Trinity website. Additionally, you may call MBS directly at 1-800-325-3252. Be sure to have the information regarding your course listings, which was mailed to you in mid-June, when purchasing textbooks.
If you choose to purchase from another vendor other than MBS, be sure the books you purchase have the same ISBN. Failing to get the correct ISBN might result in you ordering the wrong edition. Do not attempt to look at the book cover or title as there are often many variations of the book.
Please note that this year, there are summer assignments in English and Math and have been posted to the BT website. Students should have received a list of their upcoming courses when copies of their report cards were sent the week of June 13. Teachers will be available to assist students with any questions upon their return to school on August 9. Information regarding student parking at Blessed Trinity can be found in BT Links on the bookmarks toolbar of your student’s Blessed Trinity email account or on the BT website. Parking permits cost $50, and your student’s FACTS account will be charged once the application has been completed. This application must be completed by Friday, August 19. Failure to register will result in the student being issued a ticket and a $25 fine for the first offense, $50 for a second offense.
All students must complete a minimum of 15 hours of service each school year. We encourage students who may find it challenging to schedule service hours during the school year to complete as many hours as they can during the summer.
X2VOL is our software program that affords students the opportunity to take ownership for entering their service hours online. Students will use X2VOL to report summer hours as well. Therefore, the students must obtain an email address and phone number of the supervisor of the service organization because this is required in the online reporting. Students may view and sign up for service opportunities and print their service log that can be used for college applications.
All new students will be trained during the first few weeks of school and should keep a record of their summer hours until training. Blessed Trinity campus ministry aspires to instill a heart for service to others in each student that will help them grow in love throughout their lives.

Students are to be in uniform (no ties) from the first day, including the Orientation Day for new students on Monday, August 8. Boys begin wearing ties on Monday, October 17.
Skort hems must not be more than three inches above the crease at the back of the knee. With the first offense, the student will have 10 school days to obtain an appropriate skort in compliance with the policy. Failure to do so will result in the student being required to wear the school uniform slacks for the remainder of the semester.
The only approved outerwear garments that can be worn during the school day are the BT sweater, BT fleece, BT letter jacket, and green BT-embroidered water resistant jacket. Your uniform oxford shirt must be worn under the approved outerwear garments.
Students taking PE classes must wear the PE uniform. Approved outerwear for these classes includes any BT sweatshirt and BT sweatpants.
Chromebooks to be provisioned:
An email will be sent the week of July 11 with details and dates for Chromebook pickup (if you ordered a device through Blessed Trinity prior to the May 2 deadline) and for Chromebook provisioning for everyone bringing a Chromebook that was not purchased through Blessed Trinity. Note that we will also offer Chromebook pickups and provisioning during new student orientation in case there are any conflicts with summer travel, etc.
All students must have their charged Chromebook in hand on the first day of classes, as well as on Orientation Day for new students.
Locker Assignments (Freshman only):
On Monday, July 25 and Tuesday, July 26, students may come in between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to set up their locker. Locker information will be available in the main office, but not until July 25. This is not required; your locker information will be provided on the first day of school. Please note that these are the only two days that lockers may be set up prior to the beginning of school.
Students must be in compliance with all grooming guidelines which can be found on the BT website.
If you have not yet scheduled your appointment for yearbook/ID/food service photos (including senior portraits, both formal and casual), you must do so before August 8. Call Picture Perfect Photography at 770-993-7129 for an appointment. They are located at 1020 Woodstock Road, Suite 2100, Roswell, Georgia 30075. There is no charge for the senior portraits if scheduled any Tuesday or Thursday before July 31 between 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. or 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
All yearbook photographs must be taken by Picture Perfect to ensure that the background and poses in the yearbook are consistent. Photo package options will be provided should you wish to purchase.
For parents and students new to the school (both freshmen and upperclassmen):
New students will have a full day orientation: 7:45 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. on Monday, August 8. If a new student has not received an email or text from an Orientation Leader about his/her freshman group outing, or the new upperclassman luncheon, please email the student’s name and grade to Ellen Rick at firstname.lastname@example.org immediately.
If you are the parent of a new sophomore, junior, or senior, it is imperative that we receive the final official transcript of previous high school work as soon as possible. Request that the former school send the transcript to the attention of Ellen Rick, Registrar at email@example.com.
A brief rundown of the first few days:
Monday, August 8: New Student Orientation & Mass
- Orientation for freshmen and new upperclassmen
- The day begins at 7:45 a.m. and ends at 2:45 p.m. (Check-in will begin in the lobby at 7:00 a.m.)
- No books needed, but bring your Chromebook. You will meet your teachers regarding basic information.
- Lunch will be provided by our food service, SAGE Dining Services, at no cost for this day.
- Come in uniform (no ties for boys) and be prepared for a fun and informative day.
- The day includes Mass in the theater at 9:30 a.m.
Tuesday, August 9: First Day of Classes - Green Day Classes Meet
- Full day – 7:45 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.
- At 7:45 a.m., freshmen and sophomores report to the theater, juniors and seniors to the main gym for an orientation meeting.
- We will then go to homeroom where you will get a copy of your class schedule with periods, rooms, and teachers. Other information will be given as well.
- After homeroom, the four Green Day classes will meet.
- Bring your Chromebook (fully charged, today and every day) and all your books.
- Students will be told exactly what school supplies they need by the individual teachers on the first two days of school.
Wednesday, August 10: Gold Day Classes Meet
- Early Start – 7:45 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.
- The day will begin at 7:45 a.m. with first block.
- After fourth block, there will be required house meetings.
Our summer hours are weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., except for the week of July 4 - 8, when the school is closed.
