On Friday night, September 9, 2022, the Inaugural Georgia Patriotism Bowl will be played at Blessed Trinity featuring our Titans against the Golden Lions of St. Pius X Catholic High School. Blessed Trinity had the privilege of playing in the Patriotism Bowl last year against Charlotte Catholic High School. The game benefits organizations with missions to encourage patriotism, support our first responders, veterans, active military and their families, and recognize selfless service.
Our gates will open at 6:00 p.m. to allow guests to enter the stadium and be seated for the pre-game ceremonies that will take place promptly at 7:00 p.m. All guests must purchase game tickets digitally on the GoFan website. Please note that a $2 donation has been added to the ticket price for the Patriotism Bowl. An Athletic Association membership still allows admission to the game, but further instructions will be sent from Blessed Trinity Athletics regarding the charitable donation. If you have not yet purchased a membership, please click here for more information. All students in attendance at Friday’s game will be admitted with their Student ID and charged $2 to their FACTS account. These donations will benefit the Patriotism Bowl and a patriotic non-profit chosen by each school’s student councils.
The following are some of the highlights of the pregame show which will begin promptly at 7:00 p.m.:
- A helicopter will be landing on the field to deliver the coin toss guest to the stadium.
- A skydiving exhibition is planned to take place on the field.
- The two teams will be wearing custom-designed Patriotism Bowl uniforms.
- The National Anthem will be a moving performance by the 116th Army Band of the Georgia Army National Guard.
We are expecting higher than average attendance for this game. We ask for patience and awareness while driving on campus, as the parking lots will likely exceed capacity.
The game will be streamed on the NFHS Network and on Georgia Public Broadcasting.
