Mrs. Ashley Mowrey

A smiling woman in a black outfit is seated on a porch, with a wooden railing and a white exterior wall visible in the background.

Ashley Mowrey is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of agency and corporate experience spanning digital marketing, social media, influencer marketing, public relations, and crisis communications.

Prior to co-founding Canton Street Communications, Ashley built and led the brand communications team at Newell Brands, providing strategic support to a global portfolio of iconic brands such as Sharpie, Coleman, Graco, Rubbermaid, and Yankee Candle, among others. In her over 10 years at Cohn & Wolfe and Ketchum, she developed award-winning public relations campaigns for clients, including The Home Depot, Wendy’s, The Coca-Cola Company, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, and The PGA of America.

In 2018, Ashley developed the strategic approach and real-time social and traditional media response for the #CrockPotIsInnocent campaign stemming from the ‘This Is Us’ storyline alleging the beloved main character Jack was killed by a janky Crock-Pot. Her remarkable career is punctuated by a string of accolades, including a Silver Cannes Lion, a Silver Clio, and PRSA Silver Anvils, all testament to her ability to craft and execute award-winning campaigns that yield tangible business and communications outcomes.

A proud graduate of Southern Methodist University (Go ponies!), Ashley finds joy outside the office in her roles as a loving wife and mother to three remarkable boys, Evan (BT Class of 2022, GT Class of December 2025), Chase (BT Class of 2025, GT Class of 2029), and Connor (BT Class of 2027). She currently serves on the Blessed Trinity Catholic High School Advisory Council as Enrollment Committee Chair and on The Voilà Foundation Board of Directors.
