Kasten Scores Her 100th Career Goal in Soccer

The BT soccer world was a buzz in April as Lady Titan Kara Kasten made school history by scoring her 100th-career goal during the second round of region competition.

When the game against Druid Hills started, Kara and her teammates knew that she  needed only one goal to reach the milestone. After playing two minutes, the pass came, the shot landed, the crowd stood and applauded and Karas teammates on the field surrounded her in celebration. Kara went on to score her 101st and 102nd goal before the game ended in a Titan victory.

Kara is a well rounded girl who strives for excellence on and off the soccer field, said Head Coach Gilbert Jean-Baptiste. What impresses me the most about her is her ability to raise her level of play to a higher level in big games. The team feeds off her energy and appreciates her honesty. She is a good role model for the freshman and future players for this program.

Kara has signed a letter of intent to attend Auburn in the fall.
