Works of Mercy Service Opportunities in November
Reminder: Five Works of Mercy Service Hours are due on December 10. Following are opportunities during November to get these hours! Additional service programs will be posted on the Campus Ministry bulletin board so please remind your student to check it. Service hours (15 hours, with a minimum of 10 works of mercy hours and maximum of 5 other hours) are an annual and graduation requirement.
Help assemble boxes; distribute boxes to Family Rooms; check in/sort gifts, etc., after school. Dates will be announced. Questions? Contact Ms. McCarthy.
Hosea Feed the Hungry
Volunteers are needed to help with their Thanksgiving Day Dinner program at Turner Field. Registration opens Nov. 2 (www.hoseafeedthehungry.com).
Nov. 20 (Set Up), Nov. 24 (Food Preparation), Nov. 25 (Dinner Event), Nov. 26 (Wrap-Up).
This national, non-profit organization donates formal dresses to high school teens who can’t afford to purchase them. Volunteers are needed in their store. Training is scheduled on Nov. 6, 10-noon in their Woodstock store. Contact Lori Simmons in Guidance to register for the training.
North Fulton Community Charities
Volunteers are needed to help with their Coat Drive on Nov. 3 and 4 (Email: email@example.com).

Strong Legs Run
This 26th annual event, on Sat., Nov. 6, at Turner Field, benefits Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. It includes a 10K race, 5K run/walk and a 2K Family Fun Run. Contact: www.choa.org for details.
