Coach McFarland is the Head Coach for the Girls Lacrosse Program at Blessed Trinity.
She is a graduate of Randolph-Macon Woman’s College in Lynchburg, Virginia where she was a 4-year starter on the Women’s Lacrosse Team and was named to the 1983 ODAC All-Conference Lacrosse Team. A past president of the Roswell Youth Lacrosse Association, Coach McFarland more recently served as the Coaches Education & Training Director of US Lacrosse – Georgia Chapter. She is also the 2008 recipient of the Georgia Chapter US Lacrosse Excellence in Growing the Game Award. Coach McFarland is the Associate Director of Advancement for Blessed Trinity.
Maggie Bermingham - Assistant Coach
She is a graduate of the College of William & Mary and served as a captain for Women’s Lacrosse team where she earned a starting role on defense as a redshirt freshman in 2012. She was a President’s Award recipient recognized for sportsmanship, citizenship & leadership and was the Feffie Barnhill Award recipient awarded to the top female athlete for leadership & sportsmanship. Maggie attended Annandale High School where she was a four-year starter and served as a captain two seasons for the Women’s Lacrosse team. She was a Tewaaraton Award nominee, a three-time first-team All-Patriot District selection, two-time first-team All-Northern Region honoree, earned honorable mention All-Met distinction, named second-team All-Patriot District and second-team All-Northern Region. During her summers, Maggie has served as a collegiate camp counselor at Duke University, William & Mary and Marymount University.
Leslie DePietro - Assistant Coach
She is a 2012 graduate of the University of Georgia, where she graduated with a Bachelor's degree in English Education. As a 2008 graduate of Northgate High School in Newnan, GA, she was a three-year starter on the inaugural club and varsity lacrosse teams. She was voted a Varsity Captain by her teammates in the inaugural year of the Varsity program. Coach DePietro teaches English at Blessed Trinity and is the moderator of the the Book Club and the National English Honor Society. She is also co-advisor of the Yearbook.
