Bad Seed opens at Blessed Trinity

“Why would a sweet little girl do that?”

Is this little girl as evil a daughter as her mother suspects? Or is she just a spoiled young lass with a competitive streak? Discover the truth in the upcoming Theatrical Alliance production of The Bad Seed, a classic psychological thriller. Drama Director Allan Dodson’s first semester Theater Production class will revive this popular 1950’s production on January 21st at 7:30 PM and on January 22nd at 3:00 PM in the Fine Arts Theater.

Junior Katie Kelly portrays little Rhoda Penmark whose mother Christine (portrayed by Natalia Scott) suspects her daughter’s evil ways when a number of their neighbors and acquaintances perish under mysterious circumstances. Christine keeps her suspicions quiet until Grace’s grandfather, Richard Bravo (played by Jake Cooper), reveals a secret from the past that sheds new light on the mysterious deaths. It’s a not-to-be-missed drama that promises to entertain in a classic sense!

Junior Mary Alexa Johns designed the set and promotional artwork with input from crew members Alex Leef, Andrew Vandenberg, and David Ward These stage composition elements are an integral part of the production’s success.
