Club Description:

The Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica is an honor society for Blessed Trinity students enrolled in Spanish IV Honors or higher and is sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese. The mission of the Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica is to recognize high school achievement in Spanish and to promote interest in Hispanic studies.

Blessed Trinity juniors or seniors in at least their 4th semester of Honors/AP coursework, who have maintained an A average in their Honors and/or AP Spanish courses, with a 3.5 GPA, and are of good moral character are invited to join. Invitations will be sent out late first semester, or early second semester.  Our Induction Ceremony for the SHH is held during the spring semester, typically in February. SHH officers are elected by their peers in the fall. SHH officers are in charge of organizing our service projects.

Our chapter is Miguel de Unamuno, a Spanish essayist, novelist, poet, playwright and philosopher. The motto of the Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica is "Todos a una".
