Spanish NHS

Club Description:

The Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica is an honor society for Blessed Trinity students enrolled in Spanish, and is sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese. The mission of the Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica is to recognize high school achievement in Spanish and to promote interest in Hispanic studies.

Any Blessed Trinity junior or senior who has maintained an A average in their Honors and/or AP Spanish courses, with a 3.5 GPA, and is of good moral character are eligible to apply, Our Induction Ceremony for the SHH is held during the spring semester, typically in February or March. SHH officers are elected by their peers in the fall.

Our chapter is Miguel de Unamuno, a Spanish essayist, novelist, poet, playwright and philosopher. The motto of the Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica is "Todos a una".
