Dan Baker '04


Dan's band came together fall of 2007 and decided it’s his only option was to please the fans. Since then, Southbound has hit the ground running, recorded its first album in Atlanta, Georgia, entitled "Southern Man." Southbound is also featured on Fox Television each week playing the theme song for the hunting show "'Struttin' N' Ruttin'" Television.

The strength of Southbound's live shows has led to a busy touring schedule as an acclaimed country act. Southbound has performed at venues and festivals across the South and opened for and played with national acts such as Luke Bryan, Jake Owen, The Zac Brown Band, Jimmy Hall (Band leader of Hank Williams Jr.) ,Wet Willie, Lee Brice, Cowboy Troy, Colt Ford, Brantley Gilbert, Laney Strickland, and Tony Tyler. Southbound continues to build its fan base while touring in support of its release, "Southern Man" featuring "Who I Am," "In His Shoes," "Southern Man," and "Since I Left You."
