Homecoming 2010 - Out of this World Festivities

Monday, October 4
•*Spirit Dress:   Super Hero Day  
•Hamburger cookout at lunch (Mr. Moore and Coach Turner)

Tuesday, October 5
•*Spirit Dress:  Tacky Day

Wednesday, October 6
•*Spirit Dress:   Salad Dressing Day:  Seniors, Caesar; Juniors, Ranch; Sophomores, 1000 Island; Freshmen, Italian.
•Voting for Homecoming Queen begins on school intranet.

Thursday, October 7
•*Spirit Dress:  Neon Day
•Dance tickets sold at lunch for $10
•Extreme board decorating after school from 3:15 to 5:15pm. Judging to be done Friday morning.
•Voting for homecoming queen on school intranet.  Voting ends after third lunch.

Friday, October 8
•*Spirit Dress:  Show Your School Spirit Day (Competition at Pep Rally for most spirited)
•Last day to purchase dance tickets at lunch for $10.  
•Pep Rally
•Winner of Spirit Week and Board Decorating announced.
•Carnival and cookout from 5 to 7pm in horseshoe.  Carnival is open to all in our BT community and includes a jumping castle, rock climbing wall, giant slide, and game booths.  Games are free; food is sold by our Athletic Association.
•Football game begins at 7:30pm
•Half-time introduction of Homecoming Court and crowning of the Homecoming Queen.  

Saturday, October 9
•Homecoming Dance in Main Gym, 8 to 11pm.  Arrive through door into Aux. Gym.  Doors locked from 8:30 to 10:30pm
•Dance theme is “Out of This World.”
•Dress is semi-formal.  Coat check available in Aux. Gym.
•Photographer available for pictures.  
•Tickets pre-sold for $10; $20 at the door.

*For all spirit days, students may be out of uniform ONLY if they participate in dressing according to the theme of the day.   The following guidelines apply each day: No shorts unless sweats are worn underneath, no short skirts, no pajama pants, no visible undergarments (even worn over clothing), and no revealing shirts. No wheeled shoes. No weapons of any kind, no radios or other objects that make sounds, and no animals. Students whose clothing does not meet with the expectations of the school (at the school’s discretion) will be sent home or given a school uniform to wear for the day. If you have any questions about the appropriateness of your dress, please see Mrs. Hurley prior to wearing the costume.
