Learning Specialist - Blessed Trinity Catholic High School is seeking a learning specialist to work as part of a two-person team in our Learning Center Program.  Candidates should have a background in providing academic and organizational support to high school students, be well versed in the impact of learning differences on the academic success of students, and have the ability to work successfully with students with a variety of learning styles and disabilities.  Bachelor’s degree with certification in the field of learning differences or English or Math required, Master's degree preferred. Bookstore Manager - Blessed Trinity Catholic High School is accepting applications for a Bookstore Manager for its School Store for the 2019-2020 school year. This position is part-time, approx. 25-30 hours per week during the school year, with some weekend and evening hours required. 10-15 hours a week are required during the summer with some flexibility. This position is a non-benefit position. Retail and customer service experience is required. Must have strong data entry/computer skills. Selected candidate must successfully pass a background check and drug screen. Job Duties:


  • Cashier

  • Maintain POS System

  • Work special events such as sporting events, registration nights, uniform fittings, banquets, Titan Tidings Gift Show, etc.

  • Stock and maintain inventory, manage displays of inventory

  • Purchases products for the bookstore and attends out of town buying show

  • Maintain relationships with vendors

  • Enter inventory in database, approve invoices, perform periodic inventory counts

  • Supervise Asst. Bookstore Manager, Cashiers and Work-Study Students

Business Education Teacher: Blessed Trinity Catholic High School is seeking to fill a full-time Engineering and Robotics or Business and Computer Science position within the Business and Technology Education Department. Candidates must have prior high school teaching experience. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Education and certification in Georgia required.  Preference is given to those with a Master's degree. Candidates with knowledge of Adobe CC design software including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere, Audition, and After Effects and/or experience in Computer Science is a plus. Band Director: Blessed Trinity is seeking a full-time Director of Bands and Instrumental Music for the 2019-2020 academic school year. The candidate must have demonstrated successful prior experience teaching band at the middle school and/or high school level. A minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education is required; however, a Masters degree is preferred. The candidate must hold a valid Georgia teaching certificate or be in process of earning Georgia certification.  

This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher with strong oral and written communication skills,  who is interested in inspiring young people musically while employing effective leadership skills while managing a comprehensive and well established band department. The Band is an integral part of our well-known Fine Arts Program and provides support in all facets of the Performing Arts Programs.  In addition to this, the following duties are required:

  • Having a working (mechanical and structural knowledge) of standard woodwind, percussion, and brass instruments.  

  • Having a fundamental knowledge of music performance technology, audio recording equipment, and sound reinforcement equipment.

  • Experience advising high school clubs/co curricular activities.

  • Preparation and direction of combined BT student and professional adult instrumental ensemble for the yearly presentation of a Full Broadway Musical Theatre Production.

  • Directing the Symphonic Band and providing student preparation for four annual concerts throughout the school year.

  • Directing the Titan Drumline to perform in school activities, pep rallies, and other events to include travel to all home games as well as playoff and state games.

  • Direct instruction and facilitation of the 6th, 7th and 8th grade band program in one of our primary feeder schools, Queen of Angels, through direct instruction one block per day at that facility.

  • Represent School involvement as a member of NAfME with preparation for student participation in Large Group Performance Evaluation,

  • Additional teaching responsibilities include AP Music Theory, History of American Music, and World Percussion.

  • Teacher must demonstrate ethical and professional behavior and at all times in support of the school’s mission statement, while maintaining successful student expectations in compliance with the school’s Discipline and Code of Conduct.

Maintenance Worker - Blessed Trinity Catholic High School has an opening for a full- time maintenance employee. We are hiring a maintenance worker to join our maintenance team. You will inspect different equipment and perform any basic repairs or preventative maintenance when required. To do well in this role you should have previous experience in maintenance, be highly skilled with various hand and power tools, and be able to read blueprints and repair manuals.This position is a full-time hourly position with full benefits. Occasional overtime work on weekends. This position reports to the maintenance supervisor.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment.

  • Performing preventative maintenance.

  • Handling basic repairs and maintenance.

  • Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary.

  • Diagnosing HVAC mechanical issues and correcting them.

  • Repairing machines, equipment, or structures as necessary.

  • Supervise cleaning crews.

  • Setup for different events at school.

Requirements:

  • Proven maintenance experience.

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

  • Related degree from a technical college.

  • Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.

  • Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts.

  • Ability to operate computerised HVAC controls system.

  • Ability to check blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary.

  • Ability to use common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches.

  • Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices.

  • Experience performing routine maintenance.

  • Strong organizational and follow up skills.

  • Eye for detail.

  • Professional presentation and attitude.

  • Ability to maintain focus while working individually.

  • Strong time management skills.
