Blessed Trinity offers several electronic resources to facilitate communications and information access for parents and students. Information for accessing these system is sent to all families on a yellow sheet of paper as part of the summer mailing (the one including the school calendar, etc.). If you do not have your yellow sheet please send your student name(s) and mailing address to help@btcatholic.org and we will send you another copy of your yellow sheet (we cannot release the information over the phone or via e-mail).

  • BTCommunity e-mail: All e-mails sent from Blessed Trinity - specifically including e-Newsletters, lunch account balance notices, e-mails sent by a teacher (not including replies), service hours updates, and special BT-related e-mail announcements - are sent ONLY to your btcommunity.org e-mail address. More information on BTCommunity e-mail - including directions for forwarding e-mails to your personal account - can be found here.
  • e-grades: Parents and students may access grades, review attendance and discipline entries, and access an on-line family directory via the e-grades site. Additional information on the e-grades site is available here.
  • moodle: moodle is our new on-line course management system for homework assignments, class discussions, etc. 2012-2013 is the second in a 3-year migration to moodle. Additional information - including important notes for accessing moodle as a parent - can be found here.
  • "Traditional" BT homework site: we are migrating from the Traditional BT homework site to moodle but some teachers are still using it for the 2012-2013 school year. A pdf file outlining basic operations can be found here.

What is my username/password?

Usernames and passwords are sent to all families on a yellow sheet of paper as part of the summer mailing (the one including the school calendar, etc.). If you do not have your yellow sheet please send your student name(s) and mailing address to help@btcatholic.org and we will send you another copy of your yellow sheet (we cannot release the information over the phone or via e-mail).

Why am I assigned an e-mail address?

We assign e-mail addresses so that we have a "known good" address on file - prior to assigning e-mail addresses we frequently encountered situations where a family e-mail address had changed and we were not notified (or for any of a number of other reasons e-mails were not being delivered). By assigning e-mail addresses we know that we have a valid address for every parent. Our parent e-mail system is hosted for free by Google and gives you the ability to forward your BT e-mails to the personal account of your choosing so you do not have to check yet another e-mail account.

Do separated families receive two accounts?

No. We only have the capability to issue one account per student. We will automatically send a copy of the information (as part of the summer mailing) to non-custodial parents whose address we have on file.

How do I change my password?

We strongly recommend that you not change your passwords - because we use multiple systems (some of which do not allow passwords to be changed) it is recommended that you keep all passwords set as they are reflected on your yellow sheet of paper. This is especially important in the case of separated families where multiple parents will be access the system. If you believe that someone is accessing your account without your consent please e-mail help@btcatholic.org with any details and we can assign a new password.
