Titans Have 5th Consecutive Winning Season:

Impressive 108-39 Record During That Span

The 2010-11 season was supposed to be year one in a major rebuilding process of the program that only returned two of its top nine players from the previous year's Sweet Sixteen team. However, the team finished with 15 wins including four over teams from larger classifications.  Unfortunately, the team missed the state playoffs for the first time since the 2006-07 season. However, the 15 wins gives the program 108 wins over the last five seasons, which is an extremely impressive average of just under 22 wins per season.

Of course, the highlight of the previous season was reaching the Sweet 16 with an impressive 65-42 victory over #5 state ranked Rockmart.

Just two years ago, in the 2008-09 season, The Titans advanced to the State Championship game, losing to #1 ranked Dublin. On the way to the championship game, Blessed Trinity posted a 90-68 win over #3 state ranked Dade County at the Rome Forum in the Elite Eight of state. It was their second straight victory over a #1 seed and earned a trip to the Final Four where they upset Greene County from South Georgia at the Macon Centreplex. At the conclusion of the season, BT was ranked as the #10 team in metro Atlanta for all-classifications by the Atlanta –Journal Constitution and finished the season ranked #2 in the state in AA in the coaches’ poll by gasports.com.
