Life Chain

BT For Life's Life Chain

BT For Life, Blessed Trinity’s pro-life group, will be participating in National Life Chain Sunday by hosting a Life Chain on Sunday, October 2, from 3:30pm to 4:30pm at the intersection of Hwy. 92 and Woodstock Road.

Life Chains are held throughout the nation on this day. All are invited to join us for this one-hour silent witness where we stand near the intersection with posters depicting a peaceful Pro-Life message indicating our Respect for Life. Local churches will be joining us as well.

According to Karen Hurley, a teacher as well as the BT For Life moderator, the Catholic Church in the United States has set aside October as Respect Life Month. "We are all called to participate in at least one activity to help build a culture of Life in our own communities. This Sunday, we have an opportunity to stand for life at our local Life Chain.

"Last year we had nearly 100 people from Blessed Trinity and our local community join us, and we hope to increase our numbers this year. We invite all to join us this Sunday as we 'take a stand for Life,' ” she said.

Students will receive service hours for their participation. Please contact Mrs. Hurley for additional information at Blessed Trinity, 678.277.9083, ext 745.
