Coach Gillig guided the 10/11 Titans to their 6th appearance in state tournament. Mr. Gillig played high school and college soccer in New York State, and has coached club soccer in New York and Georgia for 15 plus years. Many of his former players have gone on to be scholarship athletes in NCAA Division I and Division II programs, as well as NAIA. Coach Gillig is licensed by the USSF and has a diploma from the NSCAA.
Before beginning his career in teaching, Coach Gillig received a B.A. from the State University of New York, College at Oswego, earning a dual major of Broadcasting / History. Mr. Gillig then spent the next 9 years in television post-production in Atlanta. After deciding to leave the television industry he went back to school to become a certified teacher. He graduated from Kennesaw State University with a B.S. in Secondary Education.
