Download Link:We are feeding approx. 35 Habitat for Humanity workers on Saturday, Jan. 28. We need donations of a number of food items as well as people to help serve. Please see Ms Vilardi if you'd liike to help. We are meeting on Tuesday, 1/24, after school in 112 to formally plan this. We need lots of help! (If you'd like to serve lunch as well as work on the build, see Ms Vilardi for a permission form.) Thank you so much!
We serve the young people at Stand Up for Kids (outreach center) the second Wednesday of every month. In December that Wednesday was the night before final exams, so we had wonderful parents who graciously volunteered to cook and serve! Thank you!! We will be going to Stand Up on Jan.11th and still need a few volunteers to bring food and to serve.
Thank you to everyone who baked cookies and helped pack boxes for our military! We mailed 9 boxes with homemade cookies today (11/22): 3 to Afghanistan, 1 to Korea, and 5 to bases, flight schools, etc. in the U.S. The recipients were alumni and BT extended family & friends. God bless them all! And thank YOU!
January is Poverty Awareness Month. One in 5 Georgians is living in poverty. We are participating in the Archdiocesan Ten Ton Food Drive and will be collecting food pantry items on Friday, Jan.13th at the basketball games. Please come out to the basketball game and bring a pantry food item for the SVdP Family Support Center Food Pantry.
