Evan Tieles Signs with the Georgia Bulldogs
Blessed Trinity senior Evan Tieles has signed a letter of intent to play baseball for the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia. Evan, a Roswell resident, has been a varsity pitcher for the Titans for the past three years.
According to Andy Harlin, BT’s head baseball coach, Evan is a great student as well as a gifted athlete. “Evan has been very loyal to our program and has played a major role in our success the four years he has been here. For him to be signing with a school as prestigious both academically and athletically as the University of Georgia, is a very proud moment for all of us here at BT,” he said. “He is a first class kid who comes from such a great family. We are very proud he is a Titan, and we are so excited for him and his family.”
Georgia is a Division 1 school and has recruited Evan to play pitcher.
