Coaches
Coach McFarland is the Head Coach for the Girls Lacrosse Program at Blessed Trinity.
She is a graduate of Randolph-Macon Woman’s College in Lynchburg, Virginia where she was a 4-year starter on the Women’s Lacrosse Team and was named to the 1983 ODAC All-Conference Lacrosse Team. A past president of the Roswell Youth Lacrosse Association, Coach McFarland currently serves as the Coaches Education & Training Director of US Lacrosse – Georgia Chapter. She is also the 2008 recipient of the Georgia Chapter US Lacrosse Excellence in Growing the Game Award. Coach McFarland is the Assistant Director of Development for Blessed Trinity.
Coach Freeman
graduated from Sewanee: The University of the South with her Bachelor’s degree in Classical Languages. After graduation she continued her studies in Rome, Italy where she studied with the Vatican’s leading Latin specialist. On returning from Rome she began teaching at Blessed Trinity and has greatly enjoyed the past four years of teaching Latin to all levels. This is her third year coaching Lacrosse and she is very enthusiastic about contributing to the program.
Coach Aquino
She is a 2009 graduate of Elon University, where she studied Athletic Training. She is also a 2005 graduate of Blessed Trinity and played 3 years on the inaugural BT club & varsity teams. Coach Aquino is a certified Athletic Trainer and works as the Youth Minister at Holy Family Catholic Church in Marietta, GA.
Coach Cheatwood
Coach Cheatwood is in her first year with Blessed Trinity, coaching the 9th grade Volleyball team and teaching Algebra 1 Advanced, Geometry Academic, and Geometry Advanced. She is a graduate of Auburn University in Auburn, AL where she received her B.S. in Mathematics. Coach Cheatwood played volleyball at Saint Petersburg Catholic High School, in St. Petersburg, FL and played club volleyball for Gulf Coast Juniors Volleyball in Clearwater, FL. Coach Cheatwood is enthusiastic about contributing to the Lacrosse program at Blessed Trinity and looks forward to a great season.
