Coaches

Brent Hollers

Head Lacrosse Coach

 

Coach Hollers is in his fourth year at Blessed Trinity and his third year as Head Coach of the Titans Lacrosse program. In addition to teaching Computer Systems and International Business as a member of the Business Education Department, Coach Hollers is the head Freshmen Football Coach and the Assistant Wrestling Coach.  Before coming to BT, Coach Hollers worked in Accounting and coached youth wrestling. Coach Hollers is married to his wife of one year, Elisa.
He looks forward to building a championship quality lacrosse program here at Blessed Trinity Catholic High School.

Brendan O'Donnell
Assistant Lacrosse Coach

Brendan O’Donnell returns for his third year with the Lacrosse program.  He helped lead the Titans to their season best record in 2009, a state playoff berth in 2010 and hopes to continue that success in 2011.  Brendan is a graduate of Mountain Lakes High School in Mountain Lakes, New Jersey where he was a three year Varsity Lacrosse player.  During his high school career, O’Donnell was a two-time First Team All-State Attackman and an All-American. Brendan played Division I Lacrosse at Villanova University where he was a three year starter.  He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in History. He is engaged to Jan Podhorez. 

Ed Solar
Assistant Lacrosse Coach

Ed Solar has coached at Blessed Trinity since the lacrosse program's inception. He is a graduate of the Naval Academy where he played goalie. Coach Solar is our goalies and defense coach.

Alan Vazquez
Assistant Lacrosse Coach

Coach Vazquez brings a broad range of playing, coaching, instruction, and program development experience to Blessed Trinity.  As the founder of Trident Lacrosse, he has worked with players and coaches from numerous Atlanta area high schools.  His experience also includes working with college coaches, summer tournaments, and recruiting showcases. Coach Vazquez hails from Long Island where he began playing lacrosse at Smithtown High School West.  He was subsequently recruited to play for Navy (Annapolis, MD) where he earned a Varsity letter as a midfielder. He played on numerous post-college club teams and has coached at Navy Lacrosse Camp.  Along with Coach JF Gullo, Coach Vazquez established the Blessed Trinity Feeder team program in 2007/2008.  This will be his third full season with the Blessed Trinity program.
