The Junior Titans are now accepting registrations for the 2012 fall season and a football skills camp on Sunday, January 29, and Sunday, February, 5, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Athletic Field House on the Blessed Trinity campus in Roswell. Registration is open to all rising 6th, 7th, and 8th graders who may be interested in attending Blessed Trinity Catholic High School. The Junior Titan football program is expanding to three teams in 2012 and will field competitive 6th, 7th, and 8th grade teams this fall. Jr Titans Mission Statement:
The Blessed Trinity Junior Titan Football program provides middle school students the opportunity to learn football fundamentals, play competitively and learn valuable lessons inherent in athletics: commitment, citizenship, accountability and sportsmanship.
Program Goals
- Understand the basic football fundamentals and offense-defense play schemes consistent with Blessed Trinity High School Football Program
- Provide an atmosphere that is conducive to developing athletic skills, enhancing the football fundamental learning process and building friendships.
- Allow players the opportunity to cultivate the values inherent in football: self-discipline, physical toughness, a strong work ethic and perseverance.
- Promote an environment that encourages sportsmanship, respect for self and teammates, and self-improvement.
- Field competitive programs.
Registration forms are also available at Blessed Trinity High School or from the head coaches. Prior to participation at practice, we will also need from each player a certification of a physical exam being performed within 12 months prior to the end of Spring practice. In the Fall, each player will be required to present proof of passing a physical exam within 12 months prior to the end of the season.
