CFA Leader Academy
Chick-fil-A Leader Academy is a 7-month training program through which students learn leadership qualities. They then use these qualities to create and lead three service projects (2 small, 1 large) by the end of the school year. The club is sponsored by ADDO and our local Chick-fil-A at Roswell Corners. Service Project Descriptions:
Big Thank You (Individual)- To be completed by the end of October. Simply thank someone in your life in a special way.
Do Good December (Group of 10)- To be completed by the end of December. Help out with the holidays for people in need. (Can drive, toy drive, delivering gifts, etc.)
Impact Project (Entire group)- To be started in January and completed in April, the Impact Project is done by the entire group. This is meant to impact the community in a meaningful way. Examples include: Charity carnival, Military softball game, Senior/senior prom, etc. Last year, our group raised over $800 to donate to a local charity that assists with children in foster care.
Meeting Time and Locations: There is one meeting per month, likely on a Saturday morning. Each meeting lasts around an hour and a half. They are located in room 414 and facilitated by Mrs. DePietro.
Club Dues for the year: The only commitment is your time and participation at meetings. There is no financial commitment to the club.
