Coach O'Donnell (formerly Coach Podhorez) returns for her second year as an assistant athletic director at Blessed Trinity. She is also the Head Coach of the softball program and teaches AP Psychology.
Coach O'Donnell graduated from St. Pius X where she was a four year starter on the Varsity softball team. During her high school career, she earned three all-state honors, was named AJC (Dekalb County) Player of the Year, and was the AAA Pitcher of the Year. Coach O'Donnell was the starting pitcher for St. Pius and helped lead the team to the 1995 State Championship during her sophomore year.
During her coaching career at Blessed Trinity, Coach O'Donnell has been named Region 5-AAA Coach of the Year twice (2006 and 2007), Northside Coach of the Year (2006), and AAA State Coach of the Year (2007). Her greatest accomplishment, however, was leading her team to a State Championship in 2007.
She and her husband, Brendan O'Donnell, got married in June.
