Description: The Academic Team competes on the varsity and junior varsity levels. Teams of four or five students compete against other high schools in round-robin tournaments that test team knowledge of high school curriculum – math, science, geography, history and literature – and other topics such as art, music, mythology and trivia. Head to head competitions are quiz bowl format - think Jeopardy without the answers as questions. The season starts in September and ends in April, so sign up early.
Meeting Times and Locations: Practices: Monday and Thursday 3:30-4:30 Sept-April. Tournaments: 5-6 Saturdays during the school year for both Varsity and Junior Varsity
